Cuc Phuong National Park is one of the most beautiful and important protected areas in Vietnam. It is very easily accessible from Hanoi - just only a 2 ½ hour journey by road. The ancient forest contains almost 2000 species of trees with amazing and rare animals including the Clouded leopard, Delacour’s Langur, Owston’s Civet, Otters and Asian Black Bears.

Day 1 Hanoi - Tam Coc - Cuc Phuong (L, D)
From Hanoi, we drive southward to Tam Coc (three caves), it will take us around 3 hours included short beak to rest. In Tam Coc we will enjoy rowing boat to visit the beautiful setting area, which is called Halong bay on land. After lunch our journey continues to Cuc Phuong National Park. Once we have settled into our rooms in the head quarter of the park, we will visit the Endangered Primate Rescue centre and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates.

Day 2 Cuc Phuong National Park (B, L, D)
Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, after breakfast we check out and take a drive to the center of the park, where we commence our today trek through the lush rainforest, pass centuries old trees and to the cave once inhabited by prehistoric humans. Returning to our accommodation in the heart of the forest we will spend a second night drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the nocturnal activity outside.

Day 3 Cuc Phuong - Hanoi (B, L)
Departing Cuc Phuong this morning we trek to Cay Sau before making our way back to Hanoi arriving mid to late afternoon.
